For couples who love a rustic and historic look and feel, while still being close to home, The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek is perfect. It peacefully sits on the water, and offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony sites that are equally beautiful. This is one of the city’s few venues that mixes a rustic elegance with modern industrial features, and boy, it does it well! It’s located in Hiram, GA, which is just outside of the city near Marietta and is easily accessible by the interstate.
Truth be told, The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek isn’t a cheap wedding venue. Starting at $9,500, its in the same cost-vein as several other major wedding venues in the city– But, your venue shouldn’t be something you skimp out on. If it has a great reputation for customer service, and offers the perfect landscape backdrop for your wedding, then its 110% worth it! As they like to say: “We create the things you wish existed”, and what more could you want? ?
The venue sits right on the water, with lots of space on the property for photos, both inside and outside. It boasts the beauty of nature, with gorgeous wooden water wheels throughout the property, and free flowing water features inside and out. Its something old, mixed with a little new. The perfect venue for couples who want to keep it easy and stay on site for the day. The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek lets you have it all in one stunning location. Of course, I’ll be there to keep things easy and fun, and help you get those exclusive portraits throughout this two century old property.
My goal with these posts is to help my couples, and offer everything you want to know (for starters) in one easy spot!
Q: What do the interior spaces look like?
A: The venue’s reception areas offers a barn-like yet industrial feel, with cedar walls and high vaulted ceilings! Pair those with elegant and glam crystal chandeliers throughout the interior. It offers a Groom’s Lounge, Bridal Suite, TWO ceremony spaces, Cocktail and Reception Spaces, and Golf Cart Services. Every space at The Cotton Gin is decorated a luxury bride in mind. They love that every inch of the venue is to utilized entertain their guests, from the time of arrival to the grand send off.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: There is no need to worry, or spend extra $$ on a backup tent rental! The venue offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces that are absolutely gorgeous. Whats more, when you book the venue it’s yours for the day! There won’t be more than just your wedding.
Q: Why do couples love The Cotton Gin?
A: We asked Amanda, the venue owner, the same question! She told us “I believe that every venue is unique and has its own charm; however, our couples love us so much because of the people. Each and every client can feel how much love is placed on their wedding day. Every team member knows and fully understands how important our jobs are. We do not get a re-do…everything must be as perfect as can be the first time! We sincerely pride ourselves on being the best and building lasting relationships with every client.”
I don’t think any couple could ask for more from a venue!
Q: What about pricing?
A: Their packages start at $9,500 for a small wedding with 75 guests, and range all the way to a fully all-inclusive package with catering, floral design, and a DJ (to name a few) for 200 guests at $24,000. For more information, just contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
P.S. If you are looking for other Atlanta wedding venues other than the The Cotton Gin wedding venue, maybe you’ll like The Foundry at Puritan Mill. Feel free to check it out, and as always, feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding venues, or anything else. I’m here to help.
