This week, I had a chance to visit the Southern Exchange Ballrooms nestled right in the heart of Atlanta! While it was easy to find, I didn’t read the correct directions (I’m a little challenged in that department truth be told) and really had a hard time getting to the parking lot.??♀️ Even though I was a couple minutes late, Alannah and Madi were so nice when I got in the door!
I’m seriously so excited to feature this venue, and show you a little bit about everything it has to offer!
If you’re looking for more than just a venue, Southern Exchange Ballrooms has it all!
First exciting thing to note, Southern Exchange is more than just a venue (or 6!).
We took a quick walk around while chatting about Bridal Extravaganza which they had hosted just the day before. The ladies explained the uses for the different rooms along the way, and highlighted the unique features in each. And let me just say, I am so impressed by the spaces they offer! They have a beautiful bridal suite for getting ready, along with several spaces that would work well as a suite for larger bridal parties.
As I mentioned earlier, there are several industrial spaces that are perfect for intimate and elegant night-sky evening reception! I mean seriously, I told you they have a total of 6 different venues. But of course, their crowning glory (or at least, the most popular space) is open and super glamorous!
When you’re looking for a venue with glamour, versatility, and packed with history… Southern Exchange Ballrooms may be perfect for you.
So, let’s talk about the Introducing the Whitehall Ballroom! It’s a grand, open space with marble floors, large columns, and the original stunning chandeliers that were installed when the building was built in the 1920’s. Actually, when you enter from the sky bridge (because this venue HAS PARKING!), you’ll immediately see photographs lining the walls from the 1920’s, which is really cool to see!
Additionally, the team there is really great! And its not just a venue. They also offer housing event services, including in-house catering, event design (and florals), and audio-visual production. So, if you want to keep it simple, you can let this be your one stop shop! However, there is no fee if you choose to bring in your own vendors instead. So, when it comes to packages, they create packages built on your needs.
All in all, I really enjoyed having a chance to meet Alannah and explore the beautiful spaces at Southern Exchange Ballrooms! And I can’t wait to shoot a wedding here.

P.S. This timeless, elegant and distinguished venue is also located right next to the Westin Peachtree Plaza (WEBSITE)! Perfect to stay the night before, for you and your guests.
