Travel is an essential part of life for me— without it I feel like I’m missing out on experiences. I love to discover fresh outlooks and find opportunities to share new stories. And that’s what my trip itinerary for 5 days in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico was. An exploration of lifestyle and landscape unique from my own home, even though we’re near each other.

It was an incredible experience! And I want to share my 5 day Puerto Vallarta travel itinerary with you, so you can experience it too. From incredible food and places to stay, to stunning hikes and paddle boarding with dolphins.

Puerto Vallarta is perfect for adventurers and beach bums alike!

The first thing I’ll tell you about Puerto Vallarta is I noticed immediately how kind everyone is. All the time. There are tons of expats from the US and Canada there, and it seems that the communities have merged. What I mean is, no one seems to resent the tourism, but rather embrace it openly as a lifestyle of tranquility and accepted differences. The locals are all very helpful, and were super kind with me as I practiced my Spanish.

I traveled there with Jordan, a client turned friend. We stayed in a lovely private home suite adjacent to our Airbnb hosts, with a shared kitchen and laundry in the main building.  It offers your own private balcony, reading room, bathroom, and bedroom. Absolutely perfect!

Before we get into the 5 day Puerto Vallarta travel itinerary, let’s take a look at the photos!
